I’m just elated at my job and although many of my *new duties have not begun, I know this is where I belong. I’ve always been proud to say that I’m an Auburn Alum, but now I can say I’m an Auburn Employee! WAR EAGLE! *I was doing this job as a temp before being hired full-time.

My most recent taste test item was the Newton’s Fruit Thins. They sent me the Fig & Honey flavored cookies. They have a really good taste, nothing overwhelming. These thin cookies had a nice smooth texture, not grainy like I had expected, with the perfect hint of honey and tiny chunks of fig. Although, I’m not a fan of fig newtons, I really enjoyed these! Click here to see the other flavors available. As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received Newton’s Fruit Thins to create this post.

{one} how many times have you been a bridesmaid/maid of honor? I’ve been a bridesmaid one time for my best friend from high school. The sad part…I don’t have any pictures from that day. 🙁 {two} what’s the last thing your do before you fall asleep at night? It depends what day it is. If it’s a day that I work, that means I get home after midnight, so I drive home, change clothes, have a little snack and watch tv before retiring to the bed. Nights I don’t work, I usually lay in bed with Rob and watch Fox…

Lake Martin is man-made; formed by the construction of Martin Dam on the Tallapoosa River. It spans across Alabama counties: Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa. A 44,000-acre lake with over 750 miles of beautifully wooded shoreline. Lake Martin is a great place to swim, boat, fish, water ski, and camp. It’s a great quick getaway for many Alabama residents, especially those in Auburn. Source With it only being about a 30 minute drive from our house, it makes for a great day trip. This year our friends invited us back to Lake Martin for a Memorial Day celebration. Some other friends…
