Last week Drew spent his first week at camp. He went away to Boy Scout Camp in North Carolina; Camp Daniel Boone. I always loved getting stuff while away at camp, so I had a lot of fun writing letters and packaging up little things to send him. Put a mark next to “Good Mom” deeds. 🙂 On the packing list was of course a laundry bag. I found this in the $1 department at Target. Looking back through July pictures, I started thinking of the traditions that we’ve had. Back when Rob was in school, the weekend connected to 4th of July was really our only opportunity to go to Texas to visit my family. So we did that for several years, even after he graduated. Sorry I’ve been so MIA lately. I feel like I haven’t blogged in ages. Last week I started working on cataloging every single book in my classroom library. Not only that, but I’m adding 350+ books that I’ve kept at home. I’m doing it for a couple of reasons. One of which is to free up shelf space at home and I think with the organizing and leveling my library, I’ll hopefully still be able to locate these books when I need them to use for my lessons.
