It’s not like I don’t have enough to do, but I find these little things that irritate me that become my obsession until I do them. One of which is going through my old Xanga posts namely Travel posts and reposting them with pics and more cohesiveness. The first one I found after talking to some of my student workers about going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I looked back at my post from them and was like “GAG!” So here’s my first post recreation. In January 2005, Rob and I went to Louisiana for the New Year. Auburn…

Tonight was Drew’s first game as an AHS Jr. Varsity player. He got to play most of the game. It was very, very cold, but luckily Auburn won (by a landslide!)

Today was another busy day. It started off with Rob and I going to a friend’s house for the Polar Plunge, which was a fundraiser for Special Olympics. Rob and I were not plungers. We were just sponsors, ie: observers. 🙂 Here’s a few pics from the event: You can see all my pics from the Polar Plunge here.

The past 3 years Drew has attended the Winter Retreat for the Youth at Shocco Springs. They usually have about 500 youth and about 100 adults go and he just loves it! It’s an amazing time and he always comes back on fire for God. Just love to see that in him. Well, during the same time that the youth retreat is going on, at the same…

The other night, it was just before midnight, right before I was to get off work when one of my off duty student workers, B, came to make me aware that her and a couple of her friends were in the back of our department studying. She also informed me that one of her friends, KK, took a bite of oatmeal that she had purchased from the coffee shop upstairs. Not a 10 seconds after she swallowed it, she started showing signs of an allergic reaction. B said KK’s throat was closing and that she had injected her epi-pen but…

This month I was happy about: getting to spend time with friends. This month I was sad worried sick about: my top teeth that are having issues because I grind and clinch when I sleep. Something I accomplished this month was: surviving. Something new I did was: go see an oral surgeon to make sure there was not a cyst on my top gums. The verdict was no, but he recommended I get my wisdom teeth out sometime soon. Luckily, I only have top ones! I’m going to wait and see what pans out with my initial issue mentioned above.…
