    Pine Hill Cemetery

    Oh how proud my Grandmother would be! My Grandmother (Wells) who raised me along with my Granddad was a genealogy junkie. She’s supposedly traced our family back to Adam and Eve. Researching our family was her main hobby and anytime we traveled she usually had to stop at a library or a cemetery to do some research.     Photo Walk {Atlanta: Oakland Cemetery}

    Last Saturday I took a trip up to Atlanta for my first photo walk. We met up at Oakland Cemetery. It’s quite a large cemetery currently at 48 acres. There are several sections of the cemetery Original 6 acres, Confederate section, New Jewish section, Black section, and Potter’s field. I made it to 3 sections, I believe.
