Last week was our coldest week so far this season. We survived and are thankful for a heated house! PICS & GOINGS ON I finished off this upgrade, I guess you could call it. These are Boy Scout popcorn tins that I have around the house that we use for little trashcans. I didn’t like the design on this one, so I painted it and put a ribbon with a chalkboard heart on it. There are many sights and sounds that go with start of Fall. One of my favorite things about Fall is football and the sounds of the marching bands. At the end of the summer around here many times you step outside and you hear the tapping of the snares and the whistle of piccolos. My heart just jumps for joy. Here in town every year right before school starts one of the local high school hosts a gathering of bands from surrounding areas called Band-O-Rama. Thursday, Drew played during his high school’s graduation. I decided to go in support of Drew as well as many friends who had kids crossing the stage. See all the pics here.

Tonight was Drew’s first game as an AHS Jr. Varsity player. He got to play most of the game. It was very, very cold, but luckily Auburn won (by a landslide!)
