The other day I was inspired to try out an idea. I thought of curing up boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite size or maybe a little larger pieces. Bread them and made a sauce to coat them in. I didn’t want to use the regular wing sauce, so I decided to make my own sauce. This is now added to our family favorite’s list. I usually have to make about 3 batches worth, because my family eats a load of these!

Here is the secret recipe for our Spicy Honey BBQ To Go:
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 eggs
2 cups flour (I use whole wheat flour)
salt, pepper
Sauce
1 1/2 cup honey
1 cup bbq sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Tabasco (more for more spice)
1 tsp red pepper powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper powder
Directions:
1. Pour oil into frying pan until it’s about 1/3 full. Heat on low.
2. Cut chicken into bite size pieces.
3. Scramble eggs and add a splash of salt and pepper.
4. Dip each piece into egg. Make sure it is coated.
5. Then toss it around through the flour until coated.
6. After all chicken is coated, add chicken to oil. Make sure none are touching or overlapping. Flip each piece.
7. When pieces are golden brown remove from oil and place on plate with paper towel and dab off excess oil.
8. While chicken is cooking in oil, you will need to make sauce.
9. Sift brown sugar into bowl. If you don’t have a sifter you can just make sure there is not any large clumps.
10. Pour in BBQ, honey, and Tabasco and whisk until smooth.
11. Add in all other spices and whisk again.
12. Toss chicken into sauce and then serve.
