Spot in Town – Quarterly
This is taken from the corner of campus called Toomer’s corner, which faces Toomer’s Drugs.
Starts with Y I’ve been racking my brain for a “Y” shot and then I saw this one. Well, duh! Last weekend was our church’s Youth Winter Retreat. Here’s a picture of Alex and his friends walking into chapel. (His very last one.)
Spent This one was hard, but I thought this would be a cute shot for ‘spent.’ Bigsby was tired after playing so hard with Kayleigh.
Stacked I was going to do ‘stacked’ books, but as I walked campus today I thought this shot of Biggin Hall with the stacked windows might be more interesting.

I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
– the sun shown
– plugged
– rock
– walking
– your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
You have such a pretty campus!
Thank you! Yes, I forget how pretty it is. It’s easy to take for granted.
Gosh Lysha your town is so open and clean. I love your pic of Bigsby. CarolG
Thank you! Our town does a good job of keeping it clean, which I love.
I like the stacked windows! That’s a cool photo!
