On Your Plate – Quarterly
I went to lunch with one of my former student workers who just moved back to Auburn for grad school. We ate at Burgerfi.
Hanging Saw these really cool flowers hanging so beautifully as I walked in the Memorial Gardens on campus.
Starts with A Love avocados!
Pile This was not what I was originally thinking after making this a prompt, but this is the only pile around right now. This was after, I think, we used nearly every dish we had when we celebrated Drew’s birthday. Cake plates, salad bowls, etc!
Choose Anything – (Monthly – same vantage point)
For this one, I decided to take 2 pics. This one is on campus near Memorial Gardens.
And for some crazy reason, I thought it would be interesting to take a monthly shot of something ‘real life.’ So I took a pic of the inside of my fridge, which is currently and typically pretty full and disorganized.
I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
– plant – quarterly
– chaos
– love
– covered
– your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
Oh, I love the idea of the monthly fridge photo! And I really like the hanging flowers. Also, WHY didn’t I think of avocado for “starts with ‘a'”?!?!?!? I was soooo stuck on that one.
Very pretty flowers, and the burger looks delicious. I like your idea of a monthly ‘real life’ photo – I was thinking it would be interesting to have a monthly picture of my desk or something like that, but I settled on a photo of my church.
Great idea to capture the inside of the fridge. Mine looks messy and messier but never neat!! And almost always full. Thank goodness. Love the cozy bench and the walkway. Great capture.
Burger Fi looks great! Love how they stamp their burger buns!
