The day of Drew’s graduation I worked half a day and then came home and feverishly got everything ready for our family to show up. This wasn’t really anything major, I just had finger foods because we knew we wouldn’t have time to go out and eat.
After that we went outside to get pics next to the yard sign.
He’s examining what pictures I had on display. I just collected photos that weren’t already in photo albums and placed them on a cork board. I also had a running slide show on the tv.
Here’s a better shot of the photo display.
The food was simple finger foods and dessert was a strawberry shortcake bar.
We went out in the 90° weather and took pics with the cutest grad in town. He wanted 2 sets of pics; some with his coat and tie and some with grad gown and hat.

This graduation should be nicked-name the guessing game. You see they didn’t get to do a run through due to scheduling issues with the university. So the kids ended up getting very confused during the processional and consequently got their order all mixed up. As the student’s went up to the podium and handed the counselor who was calling their names we were never sure if it was going to be the next name on our list as we followed along in the program.

This smile says it all.
