On-The-Go Pizza Bites

Here’s another easy recipe to whip up before your next tailgate or party. These Pizza Bites are very versatile and can be thrown together at the last minute. Simple finger foods are always the best when your standing around cheering on your favorite team.

On-The-Go Pizza Bites

Servings: 24
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 jar of pizza sauce (I used my homemade sauce)
mozzarella cheese
pepperoni (or any of your favorite pizza toppings)
basil (optional)
refrigerated dough (I used my homemade dough)

Mini-muffin tin

Directions:
1. Spray the mini-muffin tin with non-stick spray.
2. Roll out the dough and cut into circles using a clean food can. Or you can cut into 2×2 inch squares. Place a piece of dough in each muffin cup.
3. Spoon in a tbs. of sauce, then your pizza topping (which for me was just pepperoni), then a little more sauce, then cheese.
4. I topped with basil. (optional)

  6. Oh Yum! Do you think these could be made without the dough and maybe just a big piece of pepperoni that filled the whole muffin cup bottom and a little up the sides? I’ve done something similar with ham slices.
