Happy 4th of July!!
/celebrating/ the 4th by driving home. Yeah, having 4th of July on a Wednesday didn’t work well with having to get to Baton Rouge on Thursday. We are leaving the mountains of North Carolina today heading home for the night only to have to get back in the car and drive to Louisiana tomorrow.
/visiting/ family in Baton Rouge tomorrow. We will get to see Rob’s older sister, who we haven’t seen in about 15 years. Her and her 3 boys (our nephews) will be there. I’m excited to get the cousins together and see the rest of the family who live in Baton Rouge.
/baking/ The most recent thing I baked was Ghirardelli Chocolate Caramel Turtle Brownies. They were so yummy.
/wearing/ Drew gave me these owl socks for Christmas and they make me smile every time I where them.
/loving/ the show Southern Charm on Bravo. It’s a reality based show in Charleston, SC. It’s different than what I normally watch. So much of what I’ve been watching lately is heavy and dark. I needed something light and funny and this fit the bill perfectly.
