Day 11 was another full day in NYC.
Fox and Friends
We woke up and walked down to FoxNews where they film Fox and Friends. We got pictures with Ainsley. She is so sweet and kind to take pictures with everyone.
World Trade Center area
I wanted to go back over to area for a couple reasons. First reason was to get some pics of the Oculus Center, because when were in NYC last time, we didn’t really have time to fully take in such a cool building. Such a cool building both inside and out.
The art installation by Beverly Barkat called Earth Poetica is in the lobby of 3 World Trade Center. Lovely.
Love all the murals in this area too.
St. Paul’s sits directly across the street from the World Trade Center site. It suffered no physical damage during the attacks on 911!! Amazing!
Chinatown & Little Italy
We had been walking around Little Italy trying to find an Italian Bakery to get a few treats. We couldn’t find what we were looking for exactly so we gave up.
Chinatown butts right up to Little Italy and even overlaps on a couple streets.
Lunch at Ming Wong Restaurant
That evening after a little break at our hotel, we took the subway to Citifield in Queens, NY for a Mets game.
Mets Game
Hands down the best MLB game experience I’ve ever enjoyed. Great music, great graphics, just an awesome atmosphere. It also helped that we had seats in a private area where we had access to the Piazza 31 Club. Apparently they are all season tickets there, but fans are able to sell their tickets, which is how we got the tickets there. That club area has its own food vendors, so their are less people in line for food.
Such a good day!
Next time I go to NYC I want to spend more time around the World Trade Centre area. I’ve never been to St Paul’s Cathedral. And we loved our Mets game experience too!
That sounds like another wonderful day in the city!
