Lovin’ Life at Lake Martin 2011

By | June 2, 2011

Lake Martin is man-made; formed by the construction of Martin Dam on the Tallapoosa River.
It spans across Alabama counties: Tallapoosa, Elmore and Coosa. A 44,000-acre lake with over 750 miles of beautifully wooded shoreline. Lake Martin is a great place to swim, boat, fish, water ski, and camp. It’s a great quick getaway for many Alabama residents, especially those in Auburn.

With it only being about a 30 minute drive from our house, it makes for a great day trip. This year our friends invited us back to Lake Martin for a Memorial Day celebration.
