/loving/ I had to send some stuff back that I got for Christmas and while looking at these to get to replace them, I found this super cute shirt. It’s really soft and comfy. I want it in all the colors and varieties.
Womens Vneck Casual Comfort Cotton Blouses
/reading/ I got a book called The Songs of Jesus: A Year of Daily Devotions in the Psalms for Christmas and did good reading it for a few days, but then it was time to get back to work and all my holiday routines went out the window. I’m going to start making this the first few minutes of my day…again.
/remembering/ I’ve been thinking about old times and looking through pictures. I came across this pic of one of our family date nights to the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Such sweet memories and especially grateful for them now that we can’t do anything like this really.
/sharing/ My goal this year was to post 1 recipe a week and so far I’ve only posted one>>>Pumpkin Bread. I had hoped to get caught up in the next couple weeks, but life’s a little crazy right now with the hubs & son having COVID. I have to remind myself that doing something is better than nothing, so I’m going to do what I can on my recipe sharing goal.
/wishlisting/ I’ve been seeing so many cute Camo outfits and I’ve really wanted to give it a try myself. Here’s the Camo version of the shirt above that I think would be a good start.
I love that first blouse. Now I want it!!!
Don’t you love when blogs or social media make you want to spend money?
Thanks for sharing that devotion book! I am going to keep that one on a list for future reference.
I like it because it doesn’t take long to read, but they give you ideas of how to do more with it if you so choose.
Ah, family dates – we’ve been reminiscing about the last things we got to do before Covid as well. Now we do at home movie nights with homemade pizza – fun, but not the same as an outing all together…
Hope your husband and son are feeling better soon.
Thank you! They seem to have turned a corner and might be able to return to work/school next week.
I was really hoping to share one recipe a week too and that has just not been happening! I hope your husband and son feel better real soon.
My problem is I make the recipe, but never take pictures. I need to get my lightbox usable again.
That’s been my problem too; the lighting has just been awful this past month with so many gray days and with any new dinner recipes it’s just so dark by dinnertime.
That shirt is adorable! I will have to check it out. I hope your family is feeling better soon!
Thanks!
I hope your family is doing okay and feels better soon. My whole family has COVID right now too and it’s not fun.
I’m so sorry to hear that. Yeah, my family is handling it well, so I’m thankful for that.
Surely we will get to have family date nights again. Sometime soon! Very handsome family you have there:)
I sure hope so! Thank you!
That first top reminds me of the ones I use for Pilates (when I could go to Pilates). Thanks for the pumpkin bread recipe, I am sick of the pandemic staple of banana bread. Happy February.
Ha! All the things we ‘used’ to do. Still sometimes can’t believe the situation we’re in.
Yes to camo! I love that tee you picked out!
I need to check out your blog for camo outfit ideas!
I love the colors and print in that top! And I have been surprised at how much I wear the couple of camo-print pieces I have, they are pretty versatile!
After I posted that I found a pink camo that is so cute. My husband isn’t going to know what to think will all this camo I’m going to be wearing soon.
Oh, girl, jump on that camo bandwagon!! It is so much fun. I swore I would never wear camo because to me it equated to soldiers/war and hunting. But I have given up that argument and jumped into the trend with both feet. Love camo. And that tee is adorable. It would be very pretty on you. Get it girl!!
Yes! Even more reasons to do it. Thanks
