Late September unfolded with a rhythm of renewal, connection, and unexpected turns. From home projects to miraculous moments, each day carried its own weight…some light and celebratory, others sobering and full of grace.
September 22
Old deck demolition

Old deck…gone!

September 26
Alex was in a single car accident. Basically he hydroplaned and lost control of the car. The car hit a tree and split in half. Officers who worked the scene said wrecks like this are typically fatal. Thank God that both Alex and his passenger walked away with minor cuts, bruises, and very sore bodies days after.

September 27
Rob and I headed down to Gulf Shores to visit our former pastor. It was multipurpose trip, but the visit made it all worth it.

Sunsets on the beach are truly God’s gift!

September 28
We got to see him preach at his new church and ended the short little getaway with lunch.

Food was great too!

September 29
Platform being built for our hot tub!

September 30
I turned 50! I got to eat lunch with Drew and Cailtyn and this little pickle eater 🙂

And dinner with the entire fam at Lost Pizza Co!

Then Rob, Alex, Madison, and I went to the GPAC for Master Chef Live!

October 2
Just waiting on the hot tub to be delivered in a few weeks…

Hanging with my girl on Thursdays is my favorite!

October 3
And a week after the wreck, he got a new car.

Friday after work, we drove up to Atlanta to catch our flight to San Fransisco.

As the calendar turned and travels beckoned, the days left behind held more than just events. They held reminders of fragility, joy, and the beauty of showing up for one another. Whether in demolition dust or beach sunsets, shared meals or quiet waiting, each moment left its mark. And the journey continues…

Praise God that Alex was ok. The accident picture literally took my breath away.
