1. Thursday is National Pi Day…are you good at math? What was the last thing you had to calculate? Did you use your head or technology? Last slice of pie you ate?
I’m decent at math. I often have to calculate hours for my student workers. I use my head and then check it with the calculator, usually. The last slice of pie I ate…I honestly can’t think of when I had pie last. I am about to make a strawberry pie that I’m looking forward to.

2. What makes a house a home?
Personal touches (family photos, art, etc)
Cozy comfy things (blankets, candles, warm lighting)
And of course my peeps!

3. Your current favorite green thing?
I’m loving all the flowers and everything starting to bloom and turn green.

4. How do you define achievement? How does your personal definition look similar to, or different than, society’s definition? What’s something you think is worth achieving in life?
Achievement is reaching a goal you have set for yourself. Society’s definition is achieving more than your coworker, neighbor, etc. My biggest competition is myself. At this point in my life I just want to be the best person (wife, mom, family member, etc) I can be. I’m also constantly working on my relationship with God and exemplifying Christ through my words and actions, which is a challenge everyday. I’m not worried about achieving career-wise.

5. What song is a good soundtrack for your life right now?
My mind went in all directions for this answer. I was thinking Help! by the Beatles, just because I’m trying to figure out all this pain I’m in. But, honestly I’ve been trusting that God has this. I had my 2nd/3rd MRI earlier this week, which I was nervous about because having to lay still is really hard especially when you’re so uncomfortable. I would say Lord, I Need You is my life’s soundtrack all the time, because we all need God. However, I’ve been leaning on Him a lot more lately. 🙂

6. Insert your own random thought here.
I got nothing….

I love all the answers and can relate! The strawberry pie sounds delicious & perfect for spring. Lord, I Need You could be a theme song for me as well. Praying for good results of the MRI. I know those are uncomfortable. Have a good afternoon!

I’m sorry you’re in a lot of pain and I hope you get some answers soon. And in reading your answers, I agree — my current favourite green thing is the grass!!! So nice to see it green after winter.
