A quick roundup of what I’ve been watching lately, mainly TV shows that have filled the past couple months with everything from comfort viewing to highly anticipated seasons.

Designing Christmas (HBOMax)
A designer and a contractor who co‑host a popular home‑renovation show are pushed into taking on a high‑stakes holiday project together. The pressure of the season, the cameras, and the tight timeline force them to rethink what they want, both on the show and in their own lives.
This movie follows the classic Hallmark Christmas formula with plenty of charm, romance, and a little holiday tension with the fun addition of HGTV’s Hilary Farr. A lot of people love to roll their eyes at these movies, and honestly, I get it. But every now and then, I find myself craving one, and this scratches that itch in the best way.
TV Shows
Boston Blue (CBS)
The series is a spinoff of Blue Blood which of course follows Detective Danny Reagan as he transfers from New York to join the Boston Police Department. He’s paired with Detective Lena Silver, who comes from a prominent local law‑enforcement family. Together, they navigate new partnerships, city dynamics, and complex cases, blending character driven drama with classic procedural energy.
We were huge Blue Bloods fans, so we were excited to start this one because of Danny Reagan’s character, even though he’s the only cast member who made the jump. I’m still trying to connect with Detective Silver’s family dynamic, and it hasn’t quite clicked for me yet.
Survivor 49 (CBS)
Eighteen new castaways arrive in Fiji for another fast‑paced, 26‑day season of strategy, alliances, and endurance. Divided into tribes, they face tough challenges, limited resources, and shifting social dynamics as they try to outwit, outplay, and outlast one another for the title of Sole Survivor. The season keeps the classic structure of the game while introducing a fresh mix of personalities and unpredictable moments.
Tracker (CBS)
Colter Shaw takes on new cases while uncovering more about his family’s past, pushing him into deeper personal territory as he continues his cross‑country searches. I mean truthfully its Justin Hartley. Let’s be real 🙂
Matlock (CBS)
Season 2 follows Madeline “Matty” Matlock as she continues working inside the powerful law firm she infiltrated, using her sharp instincts and unassuming charm to uncover hidden agendas and long‑buried secrets. Each case pushes her deeper into the firm’s internal conflicts while her own undercover mission grows more complicated, raising the stakes for everyone around her.
Shifting Gears (ABC)
Matt Parker (Tim Allen) steps into a new chapter as he juggles life at home, growing feelings he can’t quite ignore, and the everyday chaos of running Parker Customs. The season leans into family shifts, second chances, and the messy, funny moments that come with trying to move forward while still carrying the past.
I find the show a bit on the cheesy side, and the actress who plays his daughter often comes across so whiny and juvenile that I end up tuning her out.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage (CBS)
As a Young Sheldon spinoff, Season 2 follows Georgie and Mandy as they settle further into young adulthood, balancing new responsibilities, shifting work situations, and the everyday chaos of raising their daughter while living with Mandy’s parents. The season focuses on how they grow as partners while trying to build a steady life in the middle of constant change.
The Morning Show (Apple TV)
Season 4 picks up in the aftermath of the UBA–NBN merger, with the newsroom facing shifting loyalties, rising tensions, and a media landscape where truth is harder to pin down. As the network adjusts to new power structures and political pressures, Alex, Bradley, and the rest of the team navigate high‑stakes decisions that test their relationships, careers, and the future of the show itself. Really crazy how far this show has gone since the beginning.
9-1-1: Nashville
As the newest 9‑1‑1 spinoff, the series follows Nashville’s first responders—firefighters, paramedics, and police—as they take on high‑stakes emergencies across the city’s music‑driven landscape. Alongside the dramatic rescues, the show explores the personal lives, family tensions, and hidden pressures shaping the team at Station 113, all set against the backdrop of a city where disaster and glamour often collide.
This show feature Chris O’Donnell and LeAnn Rimes. The bonus here is Hunter McVey!
The Promised Land (Angel)
This comedy draws from the biblical story after Moses’ death, the series follows Joshua as he leads the twelve tribes of Israel toward Canaan. The season focuses on the challenges of guiding a restless people, the political and spiritual pressures of claiming a new homeland, and the battles both internal and external that shape Israel’s future. It blends large scale conflict with personal stories of loyalty, doubt, and faith as the community moves toward the land they’ve been promised.
Stranger Things
Season 5 returns to Hawkins in the late 1980s, where the town is still reeling from the rifts that have torn it open. The final chapter brings the core group back together as they face a threat that’s larger, darker, and more deeply connected to their past than anything before. With the Upside Down’s influence spreading and the stakes higher than ever, the season focuses on friendship, resilience, and the fight to protect the place they’ve always called home.

So that’s a run down of my Watching and Listening from Nov/Dec!
I watch a lot of TV, so having it all in one place, especially with the TV Time app makes it easier to keep up with what I’m loving and what’s next.
