Movies/Documentaries
Back to the Future Trilogy (Netflix) |
American Murder: Laci Peterson (Netflix) |
Love, Charlie: The Rise and Fall of Chef Charlie Trotter (Netflix) |
Rob had a conference coming up in July that had the Back to the Future theme. And also this trilogy are 3 of Rob’s favorite movies, so decided to rewatch the Back to the Future Trilogy one weekend.
American Murder: Laci Peterson was a three part docuseries about the life and death of Laci Peterson. Even though I know this story quite well as I was obsessed with watching everything about it back in the early 2000’s, I found this series to be interesting and still, so sad.
Love, Charlie: The Rise and Fall of Chef Charlie Trotter was interesting documentary about a guy who finds a love of cooking and ends up being one of the top chefs with an award winning restaurant until the stress of all that catches up to him.
TV Shows
Palm Royale (Apple TV) |
America’s Got Talent (NBC) |
Presumed Innocent (Apple TV) |
This is Us (Netflix) |
Prison Break (Netflix) |
The Resident (Netflix) |
We finally finished Season 1 of Palm Royale. I didn’t love or hate this show. It did pull me in enough to make us want to finish it. Maxine’s character, even though she is so annoying, I had to know if her wishes came true.
We’re still watching AGT Season 19. I’ve definitely got my favorites.
Presumed Innocent got pretty dark, but we had to know if the accused lawyer would actually be found innocent. Really good and interesting ending!
I am rewatching This is Us with Rob and it’s going to awhile because they’re just so many seasons.
I finally finished The Resident. I had purposely taken my time, because I didn’t want it to end. So good!
Prison Break is back on Netflix, so I have started rewatching it.
Podcasts
Still going strong with The Bible Recap. Wasn’t feeling like podcasts besides that.

My TV Time profile (You have to have a profile to see mine)
I just watched the Laci Peterson show too. I remember it so well from the early 2000’s. So sad. Thanks for the updates.
I was sitting next to a young girl on the plane who was watching something about Laci Peterson. I bet it was this Netflix documentary. Need to check it out. I watched much about the case when that jerk, Scott Peterson, was tried.
Prison Break sounds like something that might appeal to us both. And my sister mentioned The Perfect Couple on Netflix based on the Hiilderbrand’s book.
