Drew got his braces off today. I think I was more excited about it than he was. He has a permanent retainer on the bottom that is not visible. He will wear removable, plastic, see-thru retainers for top and bottom at night and when he’s home. Here’s a comparison of before and after.

Drew got his braces today! He just got the top set today along with ‘stuff’ on the bottom teeth (which you can’t see unless he opens his mouth) so that his mouth can’t close all the way, which allows room for the adjustments to take place. Dr. T says that he’s trying to correct the crossbite before putting on the bottom braces. Today we took Drew to the orthodontist and he’ll be getting braces in the next few weeks. Here’s the sheet we got that shows all sort of pics of him and his toofers.
