Today we got up, packed our bags, and headed from Spring Hill, FL to Mobile, AL to allow Drew to play with the band during his high school’s AHS State Football Semifinals game. It was a crazy, crazy game that came down to last 3 seconds when AHS stopped the other team from scoring the go ahead touchdown. Very exciting! We will be headed to T-Town next Friday for the State Championship game.

::::::Random thoughts:::::: Not only the last concert of the year, but Drew’s… last concert at DMS. last concert as a 7th grader. I tapped my toe. I shook my leg. I couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear. The songs made me happy. I took way too many pictures. I wanted to jump on the front row and start playing. I’m amazed at the growth Drew and the band has shown this year. And yes, I totally cried…
