July was a patchwork of party prep, sweet conversations, and mop-induced motivation—plus one roof-hugging feline and a whole lot of step counts. One sentence at a time, here’s what made the month memorable.

– Lunch with Drew at Hector’s. Good conversations. Good day at work. Nothing too exciting. Went home and got a short walk in, still taking it easy after heal issue (again). Made Instant Pot Sloppy Joes.

– Alex started moving home as he will be in between leases for a couple weeks. Changed my blog template…the other one wasn’t putting line spaces between photos and I didn’t like the way it looked.

– Katniss was on the roof meowing at me when I got home…she’ll be fine. She can get down herself. She just misses when the boys would stand on the rail and get her down.

– Alex got completely moved back in. Our front room is now his storage area. 🙂 So sad to find out that our senior pastor at our ‘new’ church is leaving. 🙁

So glad Rob rebounded in time for his party; that must have made you rather nervous. I’d enjoy seeing photos with your SAD if it’s not too much trouble. I think it’s rather funny that your cat goes up on the roof; I’ve never seen a cat do that before.
I am not a fan of Tacorita. I much prefer Taco Mama. We used to eat at Amsterdam (the one closer to campus) frequently. We need to go back. I’m not a fan of the one in Moore’s Mill though. I think the X crossing change has gone smoothly. I still see people crossing when they shouldn’t, but it hasn’t been as bad as I expected.
Your cat on the roof just cracks me up! What a cute picture!
That sounds nice to have Alex home for a few weeks.
