If you missed Day 1 of our trip read here.
Day 2 of our trip to the North Georgia Mountains was filled with seeing the train leave, a “Farmer’s Market,” walking around Downtown Blue Ridge, a parade, visiting Mercier’s Orchards, lots of good food, and hanging out around the cabin.
The gang walking to the downtown area from our free parking spots. 🙂
Abby doesn’t like that she has to look into the sun to take pics.
Waiting for the parade to start
My sweet nephew wasn’t annoyed by the camera like his sisters and cousins were.
After the parade we went over the playground area and let the kids run off some energy.
My honey cooked hamburgers on the grill for lunch
After a wonderful lunch and a much needed nap, Rob, Maria, and I went over to the Mercier Orchards. We could have broken the bank there. Everything so fresh and sweet smelling. Yum!
Fried Pies (Still kickin’ myself for not trying on of these.)
Cider, cider, cider, of all types. Yes, we brought 2 bottles of this back
The kids enjoyed playing in the creek.
For dinner, Rob and I cooked Bowties with Chicken and Italian Sausage. Yum! Here they are before we mixed the 2 together.
The kids jumped in the hot tub that we had bumped way down, so that it became the cool tub.
The little ones played in 2 little pools.
It was a great day!
