On day 7 of our trip, we were headed out of San Fran over to Oakland/Berkley. The main purpose of this day trip was to go to the Oakland A’s game that evening, but we decided to make a trip out of it and check out the area.

So many cool views leaving San Fran…

From there we went over to Jack London square, which is on the waterfront in Oakland in Alameda. We just made a quick stop and looked around before hopping back in the car to go get something to drink.

It was still a little too early to head to the stadium so we made another quick stop…actually just a drive by of the USS Hornet aircraft carrier from the 1940’s.

One of Rob’s bucket list goals is to see all the Major League Baseball stadiums. As you may have heard the Oakland A’s are moving to Vegas, so this 2024 season was the last one they would play at the Oakland Coliseum. Rob was so excited to be able to piggy back this game to his conference since we would be so close.
