Possibilities

I guess I’ve been pretty quiet here lately. I’ve tried not to bore you with my mundane life. I’ve been enjoying my days off and tomorrow it’s back to the old grind until Thanksgiving. Anyway, during my time off Rob found a house he wanted to look at. We haven’t been desperate to move or anything, but we always keep an eye out. So we went and looked at the house yesterday. We really liked it. It’s the perfect size for what we need. It has lots of things we don’t have now, like a garage, an room for an office, a formal dining room, a huge game room, a nice big backyard with a pool and hot tub. The original house was built in the 70’s, but has had lots of updates and additions added (like the game room and office area). It seems to be priced just right for what we’re getting. We weren’t sure if we’d be able to afford the nearly doubling in house payment, but after crunching numbers last night we will more than likely be able to afford it. Today at 3:30 CDT I’m going to meet with the Wells Fargo person and see if we would qualify for the loan, what interest rates we get, etc. I’m extremely nervous about it. I don’t like doing things like this. I told Rob that I felt the ulcer I was getting from the stress of just thinking about doing this without him, but he’ll be dealing with all this later if everything works out. So this afternoon, I’ll know if this house is even a possbility because no loan would mean no house! If we do qualify then we have to get ready to sell our house, which we’ve never done before. I dread the thought of that too. What’s great about all this is if we sell our house for the amount we think we can get for it, we’ll be able to pay off all our credit cards too. You don’t know how happy that would make me. Anyway, so I’m off to try and not stress about this appointment and I’ll let you know how it goes! Wish me luck:-)
