How’s is going so far for February’s Scripture-A-Week? If you’re not familiar with how Scripture-A-Week works check out my post here.
I’ll have to say I started off great! I had my scriptures written in several places the first few weeks. I put it in my car, on the fridge, on the bathroom mirror. I was rocking it! Then, life got busier and by Thursday one of the weeks, I realized I hadn’t started or even thought about my scripture. So this goal is like anything else, you have to make time for it in your daily schedule. I start thinking about the sacrifice God made for me, so I think giving him time each day is the least we can do, right?
The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.
~Dolly Parton
Here’s my 5 verses to memorize this month…
For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
~Song of Solomon 2:11-12
The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
~Exodus 33:14
In all things God works for the good of those who love Him
~Romans 8:28
Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.
~Zechariah 10:1
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other
~1 Thessalonians 3:12

I really want to start Bible journaling and have been saying that for about 18 months. I keep thinking life will slow down and I will have time to watch some videos and learn more about it. Might just need to jump in!
I would like to join you in committing some of these verses to memory in March. Such a good exercise for the brain. Particularly like the verse from Exodus. Need to hear that right now.
