I’ve Been Keeping a Secret….

Yes!!! We’re going to be Grandparents!! Back in July, for Rob’s birthday our kids and their girls came over and we had fried shrimp and fries. While we were waiting for the oil to get hot, Drew seemed eager for Rob to open his gift, so he sat down and Drew handed him the bag. Inside was a the shirt that said “Grandpa Est 2025.” And mine was on the bottom of the bag. We were so excited and still are! They are due February 9th.

They told us first because we were about to head out of town and then they were going to be out of town. After they told us, they slowly told family and friends.

It was funny because Alex was actually in on the surprise. He came in with a sweatshirt on and I didn’t say anything, but I was thinking “man, its hot. Why does he have that on?” Then, after we saw the shirts, he pulled off his sweat shirt to reveal his “Promoted to Uncle” shirt. So cute!!

The reason I can finally post this today is because I was waiting for them to post it on social media, which she did last night. We took their pregnancy announcement photos this weekend. I’ll share some of those pics soon.

They’re half way there! They actually found out the gender at their ultrasound last week, but they aren’t announcing that until their Halloween party, so I’m anxiously waiting for that.
