backyard (Summer) Here’s my jungle of a backyard, weeds and all!
road sign I was a slacker this week and didn’t have a chance to get a picture of road sign. I looked through my archives and found this one. Kind of cool name for a street.
strip (no, not that kind!) I had no idea what to do for strip. I thought of strips of tape. A few years ago I had an obsession with Washi tape. So I got this shot of strips of Washi tape.
lazy day This week didn’t have many lazy days, but Kayleigh is often quite lazy. I mean, really?
your choice This 1,000 pound nearly 7 foot tall bronze statue dedicated a nearly seven-foot tall statue sits in front of the building I work in and celebrates 125 years of women at Auburn University. I love this night shot I got of it early this week as Rob and I walked around campus.
I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
– pieces
– tied
– scented
– grid
– your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
I love that metal sculpture! You could have used that for strip too with all the strips of metal making up the head.
Stunning capture of that beautiful sculpture. It reminds me of the expression that people are like onions…multilayered. Women are so much that way. Wear so many hats, have so many titles.
Adorable lazy day photo. I am behind on my iSpy posts but have to very lazy kitties I could snap for that prompt when I get to it.
That sculpture is striking and beautiful! And a very interesting street name indeed.
Oh WOW that sculpture is super! Gotta love that tummy just waiting for a rub from someone special. Great week Lysha. CarolG
I love the statue in “your choice.” And the strips of tape! Also, as long as that’s not my address, that is an EXCELLENT street name!!!
