Sorry for the delay in getting this up. I just couldn’t bring myself to pull out the laptop on vacation. So here’s what I shot for this week’s prompts all of which I took during our vacation.
rocky
bird I got a bunch of pictures of birds, most of which weren’t good. I got these 2 pictures while on top of Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia.

your choice This is another gorgeous shot from top of Bell Mountain from the other side of the mountain from the pic above.
I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
– loud
– cup
– floating
– open
– your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
You had a great holiday judging by the photos. I LOVE the one of the bird on the wing.
Thank you! I debated on posting that one or not.
I like these photos
What beautiful vacation photos! That mountain view is spectacular!!
I love the picture of the bird flying. And I can totally see why you didn’t want to open your laptop on vacation! I hope it was a good one!
Gorgeous views!! The second bird photo is wonderful with it being in motion. Thanks for the welcome to the link-up!
I am so glad I posted that one as it seems to be the favorite. 🙂
What a fun link-up! Thank you for hosting :). What a beautiful vista in your last two photos!
Thank you and thanks for stopping by! Hope you’re having a great week.
Glad to hear from you. Had forgotten you were on vacation. High five for not opening the laptop on your trip. These photos are certainly lovely. Looks like your vacation was a hit. Great captures of the birds. Love the velvety moss-covered rocks in the stream. At first I was upset about the graffiti in the mountain photo…not upset with you, but upset that someone would haul paints up there to do that. But the photo is gorgeous and the graffiti is at least painted in complementary colors to those in the sky.
Yeah, I have mixed emotions about the graffiti. Apparently authorities have just embraced it.
