Happy Easter weekend to everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for joining along for the fun of photography! Here’s what I got this week…
Sepia
White – I used to collect clowns, but recently thought about it and realized they don’t bring me joy like they used to. I decided to pack them up all but a few. This clown that is mostly white. Its one of my favorites because she’s playing a flute (which I used to play) and her colors are subtle.
Street – my street
Starts with K – Katniss
your choice – Side walk from the parking deck to my office
Pic with iPhone 12 Pro.
I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
-wood
-music
-Easter (or Sunday if you don’t do Easter)
-button
-your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
I think I struggled the most with the sepia and mine is not nearly the authentic looking sepia that your photo is! I thought my camera had filters and settings for B&W and Sepia but I couldn’t find them so tried to go sepia in my editing… which I really don’t know how to do either. This coming week’s prompts seem challenging too. I love a good challenge.
What do you use to edit? For this pic, I edited in PicMonkey.com, which I’m realizing now they only let you have a ‘free trial’. They used to have a set of things you could always use for free. I’ve been paying for it for years. It’s a business expense for me with my very small on the side photography business that I own. I used to love sepia, but I also struggled with finding the ‘right’ photo to edit.
I used to use PicMonkey but dropped it when they began charging. I now use Pixlr.
I don’t think I’ve heard of Pixlr. I’m going to have to check that out.
I LOVE the sepia picture of your shoes!!!! Looks so cool! Great street pictures! And of course, Katniss is absolutely adorable. 🙂
Katniss is just too photogenic not to share. 😉
The sepia one is really neat with all the tones so similar!
Thanks!
I love your sepia shot. And it’s neat to see people’s streets where they live. Yours looks very peaceful 🙂
Thanks! Yes, we live on a quite street. Luckily its not a main thoroughfare or a cut through that Google Maps suggests, so we only get local folks and delivery/mail trucks.
