This week is Children’s Book Week! Yay! Since Children’s books are my favorite, I’m bubbling with excitement to share my favorite children’s books of all time.
When I started thinking back to the books I had growing up, this is one that comes to mind first. I remember purchasing this at a school book fair. I couldn’t have been more excited. It remained one my fav books and I still have it today.

Little Rabbit’s Loose Tooth

Judy Blume, although controversial, her books were some of my favorites that I flew through in between assignments. My favs:
Freckle Juice, Superfudge, Fudge A Mania, and Double Fudge.

Freckle Juice
Probably my all time favorite author as a child was Beverly Cleary. I adore her work! Growing up my favorites were all the Ramona series. As a teacher, both my students and loved all the Mouse books.

In college, I read loads of children’s literature. A couple of my favorites that I discovered were:

Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin
The Giver is one I really want to go back and read again soon. Too bad all my books are packed away with all my classroom supplies/materials.

Someday when I’m able to go through my boxes of books, I’ll write another post about others that I missed. What are your favorite children’s books?
