LA’s first birthday party felt like one of those days where everything lands just right. Family gathered, a house full of warmth, and a tiny princess at the center of it all. The whole celebration had that sweet mix of intention and joy that makes a milestone feel even more special.

Her parents timed everything so perfectly that day. Having her napping as everyone got there. They got her up and brought her out. She handled all the people really well.

Everyone ate and enjoyed all the good food. Here’s what was served:
Honey Garlic Lil’ Smokies
Warm Crack Chicken Dip with Frito and Tortilla scoops
Sandwiches (cut in princess shapes)
Fruit “magic” wands
“Cinderella’s Enchanted Pumpkins” – Lil’ Cuties with celery stalk
Pasta Salad
Pretzel broomsticks
Assorted chips
“Mousy” cheese board
Cupcakes
Sparkly Party Punch (with Edible Glitter)

After eating, Caitlyn changed her into her little “One” dress and she looked precious!

Then they sat on the floor and opened gifts. I loved that they gave a recommended list for those that wanted to bring a gift. She got much needed clothes for the next year as well as other necessities.

Then, we made sure anyone who wanted a picture with birthday girl was able to get one before they left.

These made me laugh. Checking everybody out.

She’s very lucky to have all of these Great Grandparents who live near us. My mom is the only Great Grandparent not pictured since she’s in Texas. I know my Dad was watching down on us from Heaven.

By the time the last photos were taken and everyone headed out, the day had settled into one of those memories that lingers. Full of love, familiar faces, and the quiet pride of watching a little girl surrounded by people who adore her. A beautiful start to her second year.
