Week 2: Jan. 12-18, 2026
Another week wrapped up, and January is still keeping me guessing…Somehow fast and slow at the same time. How are you feeling about it?
+ This year, I have started getting up earlier and reading my Bible before I leave for work. Many mornings, Katniss joins me under my chair for ear rubs.
+ Each week I pick up LA from school one afternoon and we hang out. This past week she even got to stay for dinner. We don’t have a high chair yet, so we improvised.
+ One afternoon, I came around the corner and saw this out my back window. It literally made me gasp. What a sight!
+ Walking into my office, I saw the Florida Gator bus across the street at the hotel. They were here to compete in Swimming and Diving.
+ On Sunday, I got to hang out with the fam. I love this outfit LA had on with the bows, which are all the rage right now.
+ Chilling with her Uncle. So sweet!
Nothing dramatic, just everyday pieces that made the week feel rich in its own way.
That sunset …wow! Auburn has the prettiest sunsets.
