1. Me!
I swapped this photo out a few times, but I kept coming back to this one of me with LA at about five weeks old. Becoming a grandmother shifted my identity in the sweetest way this year and now I answer to LyLy. 🙂

2. I Love You
My fam was together for my 50th birthday.

3. Still Laughing…
End of summer LA learned to stick her tongue out and it was the cutest thing.

4. Winter Wonderland
From our few days of snow in January Week 3-4

5. Birthday
The best day this last year was February 5 when my 1st grandchild was born. It was a birthday I’ll never forget!

6. Friends
Visiting our friends in Gulf Shores. Here’s where I talked about our time there>>> Week 39-40

7. I Was Inspired…
Cruising through the Panama Canal is spectacular and it just an amazing engineering feet. I can’t wait to share about this cruise. There’s something so inspiring about what people are capable of building and the engineering behind it.

8. Spring Fever
In April we went to Henderson, NV and the resort where we stayed had beautiful landscaping which gave me the Spring Fever. My posts from this trip>>>>Vegas 2025 Trip

9. Travel/Vacation
I have talked about our travels form 2025 here>>>Travel Summary 2025

10. Summer Days
My summer days aren’t a whole lot different than the rest of year. However, this summer I got to see this little girl here and there, and it was the absolute best!!

11. A Day In My Life
My days are mostly work, home, cook dinner, hang with the hubby and the dog. That’s empty nester life as of now with steady visits from my kids and granddaughter.

12. All Smiles
Aubie always brings all the smiles!

13. Autumn Harvest
LA and fam had a fun time at a Fall Festival.

14. Home
Love our new deck we had built this year with the addition of the hot tub, which has been a true life saver for my Fibromyalgia pain.

15. Celebrate!
We celebrated Rob’s 50th birthday in July and I threw a little party for him at our house that day.

16. Let’s Do It Again…
I would love to go back to The Sphere in Vegas. It is such a cool venue. Two Shows in a Day

17. I Miss You
Not a photo from this year, but this is my Uncle Brad (at Drew’s wedding in 2023) who passed away this last November. He will never know how much him coming to that wedding meant to me. I wrote about his funeral here.

18. Beautiful
Old Town Cartagena is gorgeous!

19. Dress Up
Playing dress up for the Halloween Party at Drew & Caitlyn’s house.

20. Macro
No words needed…

21. Holidays
Baby’s 1st Christmas

22. My Favorite

23. Don’t Ever Change
Auburn’s mascot, Aubie, is the coolest! I hope they never change him.

24. Just Because…
How time is flying and she is growing up so much!

25. Hopes and Dreams
I’ve seen several memes in 2025 that say something about your mom is the only person who wants you to win with no hidden agenda. All I’ve ever wanted is that each of my kids and now grandkid grow into a life where their hopes fall into place, your dreams take shape, and they each feel the kind of joy I’ve prayed over them since before they were born!

If you made it here to the end of the post, you rock!
This is such a fun post to put together. It requires that you think through the last year and look through your pictures. I would love for you to join with me by doing this post. If you do please share it below in the comments! Happy New Year!
Here’s the ‘rules’ of this post from Ashley: The beauty of Memories, Dreams and Reflections is that you don’t really have to photograph anything new, but share photos you’ve taken all year long. Want to join along? Here’s how:
1. Go through your 2025 archives and select photos that represent each prompt (or take a few new photos).
2. Feel free to write as much or as little about each prompt as you’d like.
3. Feel free to post more than one picture for each prompt if you think it’s necessary. If you don’t have a picture to represent the prompt, skip it…participate as much or as little as you’d like.
4. If you use any photos that are not your own, please provide a source.
5. Have fun!

I know 3 people that have or are cruising through the Panama canal. I remember my grandparent’s doing that and having a great time. What a fun way to look back on the year!
