The last two weeks in July were pure summer scramble—baseball dreams, taco diplomacy, and smash burgers gone rogue. But tucked between the grease clouds and fangirl squeals were ice cream breaks, health check wins, and the kind of selfie moments that remind me why “LyLy” matters. Buckle up.

July 17 Ice Cream social at work for the win!
July 18 Went for my 2nd check up the year. I do appreciate having a doctor that doesn’t intimidate or scare me.
July 19 I got to hang with my girl for a little while and she loves selfies with LyLy.
July 21 Lunch for the 1st time at Tacorita with my daughter-in-law, Caitlyn
July 22 I made smash burgers for a 2nd time. Really good except my kitchen floor ended up super slippery afterwards and I smoked up the house. I guess the grease popped off the griddle, so I ended up having to mop the next day.
July 25 On Friday, we flew out to Texas, which I’m going to write about soon.
By Friday, we traded burger smoke for boarding passes and headed to Texas—bracing for heat, hijinks, and the next round of blog-worthy shenanigans. Stay tuned… it only gets better.
