puzzle(d) – My puzzled look…
journal – this is a journal I’ve had on my wishlist for awhile. Rob got it for me for the new year. I haven’t started using it because I want it to be the ‘right’ thing. The pages are not lined, which is playing into my decision.
abstract – I had planned to take an abstract photo, but I was at work for a bit and remembered these crazy looking, abstract chairs. Aren’t they unique?
path – path between shelves at work
your choice – This is a pic of Rob on our hike last week.
This week I continued to use my new iPhone 12 Pro.
I’d love you to join along with us next week! Challenge yourself this week to step out of your comfort zone. Get low, go high, change your angle, get close, back up. Do something different with your shots this week! A couple simple guidelines..
1. Anyone can participate.
2. Since this challenge is meant to help you expand your eye for photography, try to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Or do as many as you got!
3. If you find yourself struggling, you may use one photo from your archive, but who will really know…
4. Link up here on Saturday or sometime before the next Saturday. You can use the button below or just a link would be nice.
5. Have fun iSpying!
For next week the prompts you will be looking to photograph or iSpy are as follows:
– spring?
– folded
– open
– alone
– your choice
Suggest a Prompt! If you have a prompt you would like to do, please comment below or email me with your ideas! I’ll keep a running list of those and use as needed.
Have fun with it! Happy iSpying!
I like the abstract chairs! Do you work in a library?!?!? I’ve been working in a library these past few weeks and will be there for another three weeks which is really fun!
I do work at a university library! I’m not a librarian though.
Great photos. Yes, use that journal for the perfect purpose. To draw in. Or special holiday or family or birthday memories.
I like the path. Miss my libraries.
Yeah, I’ll probably end up doing some type of ‘scrap’ photo journal because that requires less perfection.
Those are some really unique/ interesting chairs! For some reason I always find unlined journals so intimidating.
Aren’t they so weird? Me too about unlined journals.
I am so excited to have found this challenge! Looking forward to participating
Great! The more the merrier! The more inspiration! Looking forward to seeing your entries soon.
Oh Lysha, I did have to laugh at your puzzled look. . . and wondered what you were puzzled about. Your journal is beautiful – I would be afraid to even start writing or drawing in it! Great photos. CarolG
Ha! I figured it might make yall giggle.
Can I do autumn instead of spring – I live in the southern hemisphere and we are just coming into autumn? CarolG
Oh yes, of course! Anytime there’s a prompt like that feel free to adjust as needed. 😉
Such great pictures for the prompts! Those chairs do look so unique and perfect for the prompt! And love the journal!
Thank you! Yeah those chairs have been nicknamed the space ship chairs for some reason.
I like how you took a puzzled look for that prompt. I am struggling with that one and “abstract.” Can’t wait to see what you do with your new journal! I LOVE journals!!
Thanks! I’m trying to get in front of the camera more as much as I hate it. Abstract can be a difficult one.
