Hope everyone survived the New Year’s festivities. π I didn’t post yesterday, because I was so bummed about going back to work today. Yesterday, I got off to a *great* start (not following my goals) by having a fish fry. Rob fried out catfish, fries, and hush puppies. Yum!
Today I had to make the trek back to work. Not only was I bummed because going back to work is depressing and we’re having to work on a FEDERAL HOLIDAY, but I was going to miss the Auburn Bowl Game. Well, as it turns out we were able to leave at 12:30, which was nice. Although Auburn ended up losing to Wisconsin. π
I hear ya sister. Hubby had to go to work too and knowing this, he kept to our central time zone while visiting the Flingers and other fam for Christmas break. That meant getting up at 3:45am their time.
It did help because he had to go to work just like you. That makes it hard when so many others have off.
I don’t go to work until Jan. 17th but my pay check reflects that too. Ouch…but not complaining because I am love this time off.
