Here we are for our 4th annual niece and nephew outing! I can’t believe we’ve been doing this that long. This year we ended up having to do it before Christmas, so instead of them each opening a gift with puzzle pieces or clues, when they piled in the car we played a guessing game until they figured it out. They had never heard of the place we were going, but after enough clues the older 2 were able to google it and figure it out. We took them to Hollywood Connection in Columbus, GA which is a full‑scale family entertainment center with skating, mini‑golf, arcade games, and laser tag.
Our ‘rule’ for the outing is that we take our nieces/nephews (all kids of Rob’s sister that live here in town) that are in grades K-12, so in May the oldest Abi graduated from high school, so she rolled out of that group. She got a physical gift this year instead.
The next oldest out is not in Kindergarten yet, so we ended up with only 4 to take this year.

After skating we were all pretty hungry, so we we left and went to dinner at Chef Lee’s Chinese. The kids all enjoyed their meal as well as looking at the Chinese Zodiac place mats and figuring out what ‘animal’ everyone was.
And then back to Hollywood Connection for some Arcade time, which I think was their favorite. Go figure!
Here’s Rob’s brother, who goes in with us and enjoys this time with them as well!
