+ On Tuesday nights, Opelika has Summer Swing. Each week a different band performs and the OHS band sells hot dogs and burgers. We went to see Kidd Blue and brought some chicken fingers from Foosackley’s and enjoyed an hour of music and food.

+ My flowers in my container garden are blooming.
+ Samford Hall is just so beautiful. The Friday before Memorial Day weekend, I walked downtown to meet up with a former student worker of mine who just graduated for lunch. I always have to snap a shot of the old icon.
+ Memorial Day Weekend at the lake was fun as usual. Loved thinking about this tradition and how our kids grew up doing this and now they’re there with their wives/girlfriends as adults.
+ Fireworks to finish on off the fun.
