Another month down, and I actually stuck with my Sentence a Day Who even am I? The format just makes it way easier to wrap my head around this task each day. I type them up in Day One journal on my computer like a responsible adult, then copy them over here like it’s no big deal.

For Apple users: the Journal app, which launched for iPhones in December 2023, is expected to make its way to Macs with the release of macOS 26 (Tahoe) in September 2025. I’m really looking forward to that—having a free journaling app that syncs seamlessly between my iPhone and laptop would be a game-changer.

  1. You managed to get great steps all month. I have got to up my game again. We go to the gym and then I sit down. Too hot for walks, though.

Aren’t grandbaby smiles wonderful? And sweet texts from our grown up kids.

Hope this new month you keep up with your sentences just as well as you did in June. And that you have very little discomfort and pain.

Way to go with all those steps. I hope the bifocal contacts work out for you. I like mine, but talked to the optomitrist about how I didn’t feel like it was 100% distance correction or 100% reading correction. She said that is just the way they are right now. I still like them better than wearing glasses though! If I am driving at night or seeing a play/musical, I prefer my glasses. The journal app sounds great. I have been using a google doc for a brief daily journal so I can remember what I did in the month!

  3. Joanne

I love the format! I tend to start a blogger post on the first of the month and just add my sentences each night as I go so I don’t forget. You did a great job with your steps. I really struggle to get mine in when the heat of summer arrives.
