Loving being home with no company to just chill and get back to normal life.
Happy any chance I get to spend with this little one. Her little arm wrapped around mine just killed me when I saw this picture. So sweet.
Excited
We got to go Vegas in April. I’ll hopefully be sharing about that in the next few weeks.
Reminiscing
I’ve been seeing prom photos on the socials. It brought me back to Caitlyn’s senior prom/Drew’s junior prom back in 2015. Who knew 10 years later they’d be married with the sweetest baby.
Social Let’s see we went to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for 4 boys in our former troop. Got to see several folks I don’t see too often.
Work Memories
Let me knock on some wood, but everything with summer hiring has gone very smoothly. I’ll breath easy once they’re all through their first big day of training here in a couple weeks.
Lesson Learned just continue to learn so much about babies and (grand)parenting. I’ve also learned that for every study there’s 2 to contradict it. It’s hard to know what to believe sometimes.
Current Project I need to get my office cleaned up. I cleared out a lot of stuff from my office closet earlier in April and never finished dealing with all of it.
Drew got to go to Toronto for work.
Alex decided to move to a different apartment in August.
Rob helped cook 1,500 chickens for our church fundraiser.
Most remembered our Vegas trip.
This Weekend Going to eat with Rob and his brother for his birthday at Alex’s restaurant and a Braves game on Sunday.
Looking Forward to Next Month May is transition time into summer semester so I’ll have my new crew starting. I’m looking forward to getting them trained.
FOOD
Eating terribly. I am completely hooked on sugar. I have got to reign in back in, because my pain level (with my Fibromyalgia) is pretty bad many days.
Favorite The Hell’s Kitchen Burger at “Burger” that is Gordan Ramsey’s restaurant.

Baby girl is such a perfect combination of her parents. Love that arm softying you in the picture where you’re holding her. Glad your trip to Las Vegas was fun. Hope you’re hiring and training for the summer employees continues to go well.
That throwback prom photo is so cute but man time sure does fly by doesn’t it? I was doing so so well with my diet until I went on vacation last weekend and it’s been non-stop sugar and junky eating. I too need to reign it back in. I feel so much better when I cut sugar out of my diet completely but I can only seem to do that for short spurts at a time!
