Well, we’re on a way out of town now…headed for Atlanta to the airport. Off to San Diego for 5 days and 4 days in Portland. I might post while we’re out of town. I’ll just have to see. If not, I’ll post when we get back on the 9th of June.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!I had an interview Monday with the OCS (the town right next to mine) and Wednesday I was offered the job! I finalized some details today and I’m real excited. I’ll be teaching at MA Intermediate – 5th grade! I’ll miss many of my coworkers and my nice big classroom, but I’m so happy to be teaching closer to home and on the same time zone! WOW! On top of job hunting, I’ve been trying to get ready to leave for 9 days with Rob. I’m so thankful that Rob’s grandmother and cousin are coming here to watch the boys. I can’t imagine having to pack for them too! Rob and I made a list of things to do before Sunday and we’re getting them done, but for those of you who travel know it can be stressful getting ready to go on a trip. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m not sure how I’m going to handle being away from the boys for 9 days! At least I know they’re in good hands. 1 more day of work! Today was the last day with kids. It was a half day, so I was able to get all finished up which was GREAT! I just need to be checked off by my asst. principal and then I’ll be completely done! Alex will be with me tomorrow. Rob is out of town on business and Drew doesn’t get out of school till Thursday. I’m happy it’s summer! Not looking forward to the HEAT, but that comes with being in the south, I guess! It will go by so fast, because we will be SO busy!!!

Well, the picture taking on Saturday went good. Tiring, but good! I’m looking forward to getting those back. Wow! What a busy afternoon….4-5 soccer practice; 5-7 Star night at A man’s school; 6:30 Auburn University Baseball game starts so after Star night I race Drew and his friend over and get them to Rob to see the game; grab some dinner; fill prescription for Alex; run home eat dinner, feed Alex, and change diaper; make appt for Alex’s pictures tomorrow; run out and get outfit for him to wear! Come home and make sure if fits ok. Wow! And I’m absolutely exhausted!

Well, it’s Friday and I made it through my first week back at work! 8 more days! Rob and Alex survived the first week also. Alex is 2 months old today! Time is going by too fast and he seems to get bigger everyday. Rob is taking Alex for his 2 month check up today. I’m looking forward to seeing how big he is now. Tomorrow I’m going to get Alex’s picture made. Just seems to be a lot going on!
