Taco Seasoning Recipe {Large Batch}

- ¾ cup chili powder
- 6 teaspoons paprika
- 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 3 teaspoons red pepper flakes
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- ⅓ cup cumin (less if you're not a fan)
- 1 tablespoon salt (more to taste)
- 3 tablespoons pepper
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
- Store in an airtight container.
- When you're ready to cook:
- Brown 1 lb. of hamburger meat.
- When it's most of the way cooked, drain grease.
- Sprinkle in about 3 tbs. of taco seasoning along with about a cup of water.
- Stir to ensure mix gets distributed evenly.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes until some of the water evaporates and flavors are incorporated into the meat.
- Serve with hard or soft taco shells and shredded cheese, dice tomatoes, and shredded lettuce if desired.
