Pizza Monkey Bread Bites

- 3 (12 oz) packages of refrigerated biscuit dough - I used homemade dough
- 3 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 1 package of
- Mini Pepperonis
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- --Basil Marinara Sauce--
- 3 tbs. of Basil or more
- ¼ cup Parmesan
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 can of tomato puree
- 2-3 pinches of red pepper flake (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350°. Place cupcake liners in your muffin pan and spray the liners with non-stick spray.
- Put the Parmesan and melted in a large bowl and stir. Cut the dough in to bite-sized pieces.
- Put the pieces of dough in the bowl and make sure they all get coated with butter and parm. Pour cheese and pepperonis on a plate.
- Roll the pieces of dough through the cheese and pepperonis.
- Fill each muffin tin with dough. Keep doing that until all dough is used or pan is full.
- Bake the muffins for about 15-20 minutes.
- Allow muffins to cool just a bit and enjoy!
- To make the marinara sauce, just pour all the ingredients into a sauce pan and heat on medium high for 10 minutes or until heated through
