Ingredients
  • 10 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • ½ lb. ground beef
  • ½ lb. ground Italian pork sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 14.5 oz. can Italian-seasoned petite tomatoes
  • 14.5 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste (6 oz.)
  • 2 tbs. Italian seasoning
  • 3 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups of shredded Mozzarella
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbs. dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  3. While those are cooking, brown the beef and sausage and onion in a medium-sized skillet.
  4. Drain grease and add garlic, tomato sauce, tomatoes, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Allow to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Mix together, ricotta, Parmesan cheeses, and eggs.
  7. Spray a 13x9 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place noodles across the bottom of the dish.
  8. Add in ½ cup of beef mixture evenly over noodles.
  9. Add in ½ of the cheese mixture and then Mozzarella.
  10. Repeat and end with Mozzarella on top.
  11. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an hour.
  12. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
