2-3 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
1 pouch of
Frontera Fajita Skillet Sauce with chipotle + lime
Salt (optional)
Pepper to taste
Cumin to taste
flour tortillas
olive oil
Instructions
Drizzle some oil in to your pan. Add in your diced onion and cook until soft. Add in diced peppers and cook for about 3 minutes on medium high heat.
Drain your onion/pepper mixture onto a plate covered with a paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
Drizzle in some more oil onto the pan. Toss your bite size chicken pieces. Add in salt (optional), pepper, and garlic. Cook until cooked through and browned which takes 5-8 minutes depending on your stove top.
For ease of the next step, I use a colander to drain excess liquid. Pan should be empty now. Put it back on the burner and make sure heat is on medium high. Pour in fajita sauce until it begins boiling. Add in chicken, stir until sauce is covering all the chicken pieces. Add in veggies and allow to simmer for about 2-5 minutes on low.
Serve with heated flour tortillas, shredded cheese, and any of your favorite fajita toppings!
