Author: Lysha @ A Camera & A Cookbook
Recipe type: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Serves: 16
- 2 can crescent rolls
- 4-5 yellow peaches
- ¾ stick butter
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup of dark brown sugar
- ⅓ cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of Mountain Dew or Sprite
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Peel peaches and cut in to small bite size pieces.
- Spray 9x13 pan (or any semi-deep baking pan) with non-stick spray.
- I had some extra peach pieces, so I just sprinkled those on the pan among the rolls.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in both types of sugar and cinnamon. Allow to simmer on medium heat and whisk gently.
- Remove from heat.
- Wrap 3-4 pieces of peach in each crescent roll.
- Pour butter mixture over rolls evenly.
- Then, pour Mountain Dew over rolls evenly.
- Place in oven and cook for 30 minutes. When golden brown, remove from oven. Remove each roll from pan and place them on a cooling rack.
I love these Peach Cobbler Dumplins for anytime of the year. If it's not summer, you can always use canned peaches!
