Pizza Smothered Chicken

- 1½ lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 12 oz. box of pasta (I used Penne)
- 1 large jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
- Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic
- Pepperoni (your favorite pizza toppings)
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Butterfly chicken. Rub with a little olive oil and sprinkle with powdered garlic.
- Heat olive oil in large skillet on medium heat.
- Toss in chopped onion and allow to caramelize.
- Cook pasta.
- Put chicken breasts in and allow them to cook all the way through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and place in a baking dish. Spoon a little spaghetti sauce on chicken.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and place other pizza toppings.
- Pour the rest of the spaghetti sauce in the skillet with the onions that you cooked with the chicken. Allow spaghetti sauce to heat.
- Mix the spaghetti sauce with the drained pasta.
- Pull the chicken out of the oven after about 10 minutes.
