Sausage Balls

  • 1 pound of regular sausage
  • 1 pound of HOT sausage
  • 2 cups of Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups of Bisquick
  • Ziplock bags
  • GLUTEN FREE SUBSTITUTION - Use 1 cup of Gluten Free Bisquick instead
  1. Kneed all of these things together until it's a uniform mixture.
  2. Roll into balls a little smaller than golf ball size.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°.
  4. Cook for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
After rolling into balls you can either place a serving into each ziplock bag and freeze. When I'm ready to bake them I defrost long enough to separate them out. The other option is to place them on a cookie sheet, close together, but not touching. Freeze them until hard. Then put them into ziplock bags so they don't freeze together. No defrosting needed for this method, just pop them straight on to a cookie sheet and bake.
