Snickers Cake

It’s my birthday week, so today I decided to make my birthday cake. I made this Snickers Cake. It is moist, fluffy, and just so good. It’s hard describe how delicious it is. You will not be able to eat just one piece!

Snickers Cake

Servings: 16
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
1 box Devil’s Food cake mix (you’ll need eggs, oil, and water for mix)
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
3 Snickers candy bars
1 large tub whipped topping, thawed
Chocolate and Caramel syrup for drizzling

Directions:
1. Prepare the cake using the directions on the box.
2. Right after removing cake from oven, poke holes all over the cake. Make them big enough that the caramel can sink down in the holes.
3. Pour the jar of caramel over the top of the cake making sure to cover the entire cake and fill in all the holes. Spread caramel with a spatula if needed.
4. Allow the cake to cool all the way through.
5. When the cake is cool, prepare the topping, by chopping the snickers bar into bite size pieces.
6. Mix the snickers in with the thawed whipped topping.
7. Spread topping over cake and then drizzle with chocolate and caramel syrup. I had grated some chocolate from a chocolate bar as well.

Oh my. I had to get a napkin to wipe the drool from the corner of my mouth. What a sweet and sinful treat!

Oh my this looks so yummy and sounds pretty easy too. Maybe I’ll need to make this as a celebration of no longer having gestational diabetes, after I deliver.

Oh gracious that could almost make me fall of the wagon. I gave up sugar the beginning of the year, but still makes sweet treat, or rather my older daughters, still make sweet treats for the rest of the family.
