I just realized this didn’t get posted on the 15th like its supposed to. September is probably my craziest month of the year and this year is worse. I take team and individual photos for the local travel soccer league and that eats up all my free time in August and September. I’m currently dealing with an issue with one of the companies that prints the Memory Mates. It’s always one thing after another!
I’ve also had a lot going on with my job, which I’ll might share with you later. So with just these things, my stress meter is at the top and unfortunately, I don’t handle stress all that well.
Another reason I’ve been so busy is Rob and I are knee deep in an intense bible study class at our church. I am learning so much, but I still find peace in the scriptures that are on my weekly lists. With all the stress that life brings, we need to remember to take time to pray, and to lean on God. I hope however you are using these scripture lists that you are not only being blessed, but that you are stepping out and sharing these scriptures with those that need words of encouragement as well.
Here’s the list for October!
Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
~1 Peter 5:7-10
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
~2 Thessalonians 3:16
